Town Council Kitchen & Bar: A Culinary Gem in Neenah, WI

2/3 update. Went back again and this time we sat at the bar. It was great to see how food is being prepared. Espresso martini was great. Mushroom Risotto was delicious. We had lamb stew and duck breast and both were just phenomenal! Definitely recommend this place and we will be going back soon!

I have been going to town council consistently for the last 3 years. This is by far the best restaurant in the Fox Valley. The staff is constantly busy as every time I’m there it’s packed, but they always take the time to chat and thank us for coming in. Alex is extremely fast at making cocktails - yet the presentation and taste is top-notch. I have a lot of favorite cocktail bars in the area and nothing compares to TC. The food is next level as well but I’m sure anyone reading reviews with photos can already tell that. The space is small, but in the best way. I recommend sitting at the bar; it is a chefs table experience. You would be paying more in a big city to be sitting so close. The overall feel of the restaurant is definitely Hallmark movie. Every time I am here, I know it is money well spent- the service, the food and everything in-between is absolutely impeccable and so worth it. Farm to table, antibiotic-free and grass fed steaks, everything is the highest quality you’re going to get. LOVE YOU TCKB!

Wow! Hands down top 5 restaurants in the state. If you're a chef or a food lover this place is for you! I had my first ever luge shot...First eat all the marrow out of the bone the hold one end up to your mouth and drop a shot of buffalo trace down the other end. You will all want to try this the next time you see bone marrow on the menu!

The food at Town Council is definitely excellent, as is the service. I love the creativity and inspirations of the menu that are not normal for dining in the Valley.

We both had the special, the steak was perfection. Quaint atmosphere, if you want something huge and spacious, this is not it. If you want something exciting, delicious and cozy, this is your jam! Creative cocktails that were exceptional and dessert that left nothing in question about how good you just ate

I had an excellent experience for my first time at Town Council. I started off with one of their cocktails, I can't remember it's name but there were beets involved .. it was delicious! My friend and I also shared the cauliflower and the carrot salad .. WOW. I can't stop thinking about the carrots! So flavorful and well balanced. I had the duck breast for my entree, it was cooked perfectly and the parsnip puree was the perfect accompaniment. My friend tried the butternut pasta, also spectacular. We sat at the bar top and it was really fun to be able to see the chefs in action! If you're able to get Ali as your server, I can guarantee you will leave happy. I will definitely be back for more!

Outstanding overall experience. Heard great things and finally made the time to try it out. Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about their food/wine/cocktail offerings. Cozy environment. Awesome rotating menu with talented chefs that deliver on their unique culinary visions! Stellar presentation and flavors. Can't wait to head there again!

We had our first experience at Town Council last night and it exceeded our expectations! Service was top notch and everything we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the pork shank, duck, and banana cake. It is a small area and can get crowded and loud but the food and service make it worth the trip. We will be returning!
